The court accepts cash, checks, money orders and VISA, MasterCard and Discover Card for payment of fines. Payment is not accepted over the telephone.

If you want to appear before a judge on a traffic citation or civil infraction, you must appear at your scheduled arraignment. The specific date and time for your appearance are stated on the front of the citation or complaint.

Other arraignments, hearings and trials are conducted on Mondays and Thursdays, depending on the court's docket. You will not be able to appear before a judge unless your case has been placed on the court docket in advance.

Pay by Mail

Please make your check or money order payable to the City of Anytown, include the citation number on the check or money order, and attach your traffic citation. You may also submit a written explanation if you wish. If you decide to plead no contest by regular mail, you must submit the full presumptive fine amount for each violation on your citation.

The court does not accept payments over the telephone.

The court offers the option of entering into a payment plan. A $15 administrative fee is added to the judgment amount when a plan is set-up.

If a financial obligation was paid with a returned (NSF) check, the court will not accept another check to resolve the payment. Payment may be made with cash, money order, or a credit card.
Pay at the Clerk Counter

Cash, check, money order, Discover, Visa, and MasterCard at the Anytown Municipal Court counter. Court office hours are Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
